Last week’s Mortgage Solutions poll prompted a deluge of responses, with more than 100 of you logging on to vote.
The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) recently claimed that the FSA viewed brokers and lenders as “drug dealers” and the controversial nature of the statement inspired a record number of you to have your say.
Voting was fairly even, with 60% agreeing with the sentiments of the CML’s outburst and 40% of you believing it wasn’t a fair comment.
This week’s poll asks whether Kensington’s return to lending will inspire other lenders to follow suit. To vote, click here and scroll down to the poll near the bottom of the page.

In my opinion the FSA do not really have a cluie as to what consumers are actually asking for!! I feel this coolmment as an outrage and an insult to broker like myself who are honest and above board and striving to educate a still nieve market who in some respects still think they are able to obtain 100% mortgages. I have been self employed for nearly 3 years and feel brokers are having the life sucked out of them for cockups made by the FSA and government! What help do mortgage brokers have in times of difficulty? None!! Where's the help and assistance for mortgage brokers who are experiencing difficulties or even hellp regarding dealing with mortgage netowrks etc!! Its very easy to blame someone so we shall blame brokers and lenders because it takes all the blame away from us!
